Overall Objective

Add a verified latitude and longitude to each existing dorm record so Google Maps can place a marker at the correct building.

This is a data update, not a map implementation or database task.

Suggested Approach

Open [apps/frontend/src/data/buildings.json]
(https://git.cmu.dev/ScottyLabs/housing/src/branch/main/apps/frontend/src/data/buildings.json). Each entry is one dorm. Work through all 14 existing entries without changing their names, IDs, or other information.
Find each dorm on a CMU campus map or another clearly
identified map source. Add its decimal-degree latitude
and longitude as numbers inside its existing location
object. Keep the other fields there unchanged.
Paste each coordinate pair into a map to check that it
points at the actual dorm. Check Boss and McGill
separately, as they need different positions.
Confirm all 14 dorms have coordinates!
