Goal
Students find events through friends. A link to an event or a schedule brings new users in and makes planning together easy.

Current state

  • No sharing exists. GET /api/events/<id> is already @public. Schedules are private to their owner (_owned_schedule in api/app/api/users.py).

Scope

  • Event page at /events/[id] that works signed out, with Open Graph tags so links preview nicely in group chats.
  • Share button (copy link, native share on mobile) on event cards and details.
  • Schedule sharing: owner creates a revocable share token; read-only view; "copy to my schedules".
  • Decide what a shared schedule shows (orgs and saved events, never personal data).
  • API tests: revoked or wrong tokens see nothing.

Done when

  • A shared event link opens for anyone, and a shared schedule can be viewed and copied by a signed-in student.

Notes
After the Spring launch.
