Goal
Explore is where students discover things to do. The Figma ("CMUCal-v2", page "Current prototype") redesigns it as a feed of event cards with clear actions and filters.

Current state

Explore is web/src/app/explore/page.tsx, which renders web/src/app/components/SearchResultSidebar.tsx.
Already there: Add/Remove and Learn more buttons, a single-date picker, an event type select, a tag multi-select, client-side text search and client-side paging (20 per page).
Missing: a Register button (the API does not return source_url), category filters as designed, date ranges (today / this week / weekend), the card layout (org name, category) and search over org names.
web/src/app/components/EventCard.tsx is unused legacy code (course fields only); replace or delete it.

Scope

Event card component per the Figma: title, org, time, location, category, with Register, Learn more and Add.
Register opens source_url (TartanConnect RSVP, etc.) and is hidden when there is none. Return source_url from the API.
Category filter (Academic, Career, Club, plus tags) and date presets with a custom range.
Search that also matches org name, backed by the server-side search from the pagination issue.
Empty, loading and error states.
Desktop layout here; the mobile Explore frame is in the mobile layout issue.
Component tests in web/src/__tests__/.

Done when

Explore matches the Figma on desktop, and Register / Learn more / Add all work for signed-in users.

Depends on the bug fix "Explore shows no events by default". Builds on the pagination issue for /api/events/.
